Rediscover well-being and mobility

Did you know that it's recommended to see an osteopath at least twice a year, even if you're not experiencing pain? These preventative checkups allow for the detection and correction of imbalances before they become symptomatic. As an osteopath in Aix-en-Provence, I'm here to help you maintain optimal well-being.

During a session, I conduct a thorough interview and perform mobility and posture tests before proposing a personalized treatment plan that combines various osteopathic techniques, such as structural, cranial, or visceral osteopathy. My goal is to identify and treat the underlying causes of your ailments, not just the symptoms.

Please note: An osteopathy session typically lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing to facilitate the treatment.

Osteopathic solutions for common adult problems

Joint pain (back, neck, pelvis)

Often linked to poor posture, stress, or trauma. For example, a fall while skiing can cause a pelvic imbalance and lower back pain.

Headaches and migraines

Often originating in the cervical spine, they can also be relieved through osteopathy.

Digestive and ENT disorders

They disrupt daily comfort and are also among the reasons for consultation.

Stress management

It is another frequent reason for consultation. Through its impact on the body, it can generate muscle tension, fatigue, and physical pain. By addressing areas of tension, it is possible to release physical blockages and reduce mental strain.

Post-traumatic or post-surgical follow-up

This may be offered to promote optimal recovery.

Jaw problems (dysfunctions of the masticatory system)

Often neglected, but can nevertheless have repercussions on the entire body, such as neck pain, tinnitus, or vertigo.

In addition to the sessions, advice may be offered regarding daily posture, work ergonomics, as well as self-maintenance exercises to be carried out at home to prolong the benefits of the manipulations.

My expertise in osteopathy at your service

A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, England, I have been practicing with passion for 24 years. I practiced in a clinic in Capbreton before opening my own osteopathic practice in Aix-en-Provence in 2002. My 20 years of experience teaching at the Aix-en-Provence School of Osteopathy have given me a comprehensive understanding of the various manipulations and their applications.

My approach aims to restore the body's overall balance by combining structural, cranial, visceral, and tissue osteopathy. I specialize in preventative osteopathy and the management of chronic illnesses. Stress management and its physical consequences are also among my areas of expertise. My guiding principle is to provide you with effective and compassionate care, placing listening, empathy, and respect at the heart of my practice.

To enrich my practice, I regularly train in new techniques such as Kinematic Taping, myotensive techniques, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This openness allows me to offer you an integrative and personalized service.

Osteopathy, an ally at every stage of your life

In addition to treating adults, I offer specialized osteopathic sessions tailored to the needs of infants, children, pregnant women, and seniors, either in my office or at your home. Each stage of life brings its own unique challenges, to which osteopathy can provide solutions.

For example, during pregnancy, hormonal changes and weight gain can lead to back pain, sciatica, or carpal tunnel syndrome. Osteopathy can alleviate these issues while preparing the body for childbirth.

For seniors, osteopathy can address joint pain associated with osteoarthritis, improve balance and mobility, and thus help prevent falls. Please visit the dedicated pages on my website for more information.

As you can see, osteopathy is a valuable ally for your daily well-being.
